US Secretary of State John Kerry visits GAME
In connection to US Secretary of State John Kerry’s visit to Denmark the Secretary together with Denmark’s Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen swung by GAME’s indoor street spors facility in Copenhagen early Friday morning. The purpose of the visit was to meet GAME’s young volunteers (Playmakers) and hear from them how they as role models use street sport to make a difference in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
The visit was packed with activities and fun, touching and meaningful stories from the young Playmakers who had been looking forward to meeting the two gentlemen. They used the spotlight to talk about how they as positive role models create strong communities and improve the quality of life for children and young people in vulnerable neighborhoods. Secretary Kerry spoke eagerly and curiously with the Playmakers and concluded by inviting them to continue to make a difference in their neighborhoods.
